1964 Triumph Spitfire - Price: $10,000 in North Fort Myers, Florida

FOR SALE xxxx TRIUMPH SPITFIRE MK4 As we are retiring and moving to a different climate, we believe that this car needs to be kept in great condition and out of harsh weather. It is time for a new owner. Car is currently in Southwest Florida. Only two owners to date. Purchased new in Santa Monica, CA in xxxx. Purchased by new owner in xxxx and shipped to Florida from Massachusetts. According to Triumph in xxxx only 8,761 MK4 xxxx units were imported to the US. The car has never been driven in the winter. No rust on body, frame or suspension. The transmission was rebuilt 4/19/99 and the engine was overhauled in xxxx. Car is cherry red and the chrome is very good. All major systems are in working order. It has a removable hard top with both soft top and tonneau cover. This car has been garage kept and has not been registered for road travel since xxxx. The gas tank has been removed and pressured cleaned prior to reinstallation of the original SU carburetors which were rebuilt in xxxx . There has been a limited restoration of the interior. New carpet has been partially installed. This is a very solid car for being 50 years old. All repairs and restoration have been documented for historical value.
